GRAND RAPIDS, MN (KDAL) - Over 650 members of Lake Country Power had no electricity after strong thunderstorm moved through parts of northern Minnesota Thursday night and early Friday. The storms knocked over several trees that fell on power lines and crews are worked to restore power as quickly and safely as possible. Most had power restored by Friday afternoon. The areas affected include parts of Cook, Orr, Clear Lake, Winton, Aurora, Keewatin and north of Grand Rapids and Cloquet. Lake Country Power members can get more information at lakecountrypower.coop
