WASHINGTON, D.C. (KDAL) - 8th District Congressman Rick Nolan told top Federal Highway Administration officials in Washington that the so-called westerly route option for relocating Highway 53 south of Virginia would be a waste of scarce tax dollars and doesn't meet the legal requirement of being a "reasonable" option. Nolan is urging the officials to make the same common sense judgement that those on the Range have already made. He says the westerly option is unreasonable, unacceptable and would destroy businesses and shared services.
