WASHINGTON, D.C. (KDAL) - Bipartisan legislation sponsored by Minnesota 8th District Congressman Rick Nolan to modernize and streamline the regulatory process for small aircraft manufacturers passed the house unanimously. The bill will help generate thousands of new jobs, spur investment and accelerate new designs and safety features in small planes built in the U-S. The bill will benefit companies such as Cirrus Aircraft in Duluth and Kestrel in Superior. Senator Amy Klobuchar is working on a companion bill in the Senate.
