SUPERIOR, WI (KDAL) - The University of WIsconsin-Superior is introducing four 100 percent electric cars that are being used around the campus to save on fuel consumption and protect the environment. The electric vehicles will be on display from 11 a-m to 1:30 p-m Tuesday outside the front doors of the Yellowjacket Union. The cars can recharge at any standard electric outlet, travel at low speed and are road compliant. The vehicles, originally built for the military, are already in use around the UWS campus and can travel about 50 miles on a full charge.
