Duluth, MN (KDAL) - Just in time for a summer-like 4th of July, the Minnesota Department of Health has pulled the ‘Water Contact Not Recommended’ signs from a handful of Northland beaches. Authorities lifted the advisories from the Sugarloaf Cove and Temperance River State Park Beaches. They’ve also pulled the signs from the Flood Bay Beach and the Franklin Park/13th Street South Beach. Testers say bacteria levels and averages have fallen into acceptable range.
