DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - The Duluth Local Energy Action Plan (LEAP) meeting is being held Tuesday at the Duluth Transit Authority offices at 2402 West Michigan Street. The LEAP plan will identify short and long term goals over the next ten years to address efficiency and conservation in four energy sectors: Residential, Commercial and Industrial, Public and Transportation. The Residential and Transportation sectors will meet from 10 to noon and the Public and Commercial-Industrial sectors meet from 1 to 3 p-m. Residents and businesses interested in how to save energy and reduce energy use are encouraged to attend. The Duluth LEAP planning process is funded in part by the Knight Fund of the Duluth-Superior Area Community Foundation and the Minnesota Power Conservation Improvement Program.
