DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - Former Fox 21 meteorologist Chris Snider, who has been battling stage four bone cancer, will return to the Northland from the Mississippi hospital at which he's been treating to live out his days at his sister's Floodwood home in hospice care. According to former FOX 21 news director Julie Moravchik, Snider had been given days to live last week, but made a comeback following an outpouring of support from the region. Members of his Fox 21 crew are working to shore-up funding to help cover medical expenses for the 28-year-old Snider.
