SUPERIOR, WI (KDAL) - A one vehicle crash early Wednesday morning in the Town of Superior resulted in the death of the driver and lone occupant.  The Douglas County Sheriff's Department says the crash occurred about 4:07 a-m on County Road "A" at the Baumgartner Road.  The vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole.  The road was icy at the time of the accident.  The investigation continues and the name of the victim has not yet been released.
