DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The Program for Aid to Victims of Sexual Assault (PAVSA) is marking Human Trafficking Awareness Month with several events beginning with an opening ceremony on Monday.
The virtual event will be streamed live on Facebook at noon and feature several speakers including Duluth Mayor Emily Larson.
Organizations throughout northeastern Minnesota will place a special emphasis this month on dispelling myths about human trafficking and raising awareness of the crime in efforts to end it.
