ST. PAUL, MN (KDAL) - The Minnesota Historical Society has announced 48 recipients of Historical and Cultural Heritage Grants of up to 7 thousand dollars each and four new Partnership Grants totaling 155 thousand dollars.  Grants in St. Louis County include the Hibbing Public Library, the Laurentian Arts and Culture Alliance and the Proctor Area Historical Society.  A legislative appropriation awarded a total of 10.5 million dollars of Historical and Cultural Grants for 2012 and 2013.
