Duluth, MN (KDAL) - The Duluth City Council voted in favor of a resolution asking the Parks and Recreation Department to come up with areas in the Central and Eastern sections of Duluth for two new leash free dog parks. The measure was opposed by councilors Jay Fosle and Gary Krause. Fosle didn't want the initiative to take away from other city projects approved by the Duluth Master Plan.
Currently the city has one dog park near Keene Creek in West Duluth.
