DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - The Duluth Parks and Recreation Department is reminding residents that hiking on the city's cross country ski trails is prohibited. In order to keep the trails packed and tracked for skiers, walkers are urged to use other places, such as the Lakewalk which is cleared of snow on a regular basis. The city is also reminding skiers about proper etiquette on the trails which includes skiing in the direction indicated, leaving pets at home and filling any holes or smoothing the track if you should fall. For more information and the condition of the City of Duluth Ski Trails, call the Ski Hotline at 730-4321 or the facebook page at DuluthParksMn.
