WETMORE, MI (KDAL) - A sled dog was killed and two others injured on Sunday when the dog team collided with a truck during a race in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  Musher Frank Moe of Hovland, Minnesota was not hurt in the crash that occurred during the U-P 200 Race from Marquette to Grand Marais, Michigan and back.  A race volunteer tried to halt the team before the road crossing but Moe was unable to hear because of the barking dogs.  Moe's team was vying for the lead in the race before the accident took place.
