DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - City of Duluth snow plow operators worked through the night to clear main roads and streets of snow. Although most main streets are now in good driving condition, clearing of residential streets were hindered by vehicles parked on both sides of the street. Residents are asked to move vehicles to the "even" side today to allow the snow plows access. Street parkers should also keep in mind you must park within 12 inches of the curb and blocking driving lanes will result in a ticket and the vehicle will be towed. The city is also reminding residents that it is illegal to remove snow from your property and place it in city streets or alleys. Snowfall totaled from 6 to 8 inches in most of the Twin Ports but high winds caused some drifting in open areas.
