Duluth, MN (KDAL) - Mining in Northern Wisconsin will be the topic down south at the State Capitol in Madison. Two committees will hear and likely vote on the controversial measure, one in the Senate and the other in the Assembly. On Monday Republicans made some amendments to the measure that would soften the environmental impacts of a proposed Iron Ore Mine in Ashland and Iron Counties.
