Duluth, MN (KDAL) - New plans for the Town of Gordon Fire Hall are being drawn up. That’s after the previous building and all of the trucks and equipment inside were destroyed by a fire. Fire Chief Mike Chmielecki says the town is working with the firm Kraus-Andersen. If all goes as planned Chmielecki says construction could begin this spring and he’s hopeful that the new hall will be ready by fall. Meanwhile, three new fire engines—a pumper and two tenders—should be ready by late February. Each will be outfitted with new firefighting equipment.
