Duluth, MN (KDAL) - In a political environment known more for what doesn’t get done—than what does, the U-S Senate O-K’ed a two year budget Wednesday. One of those senators who voted for the spending plan was Minnesota democrat Al Franken. He tells K-D-A-L News the budget prevents the prospects of another government shutdown next year, when a temporary pact is set to expire. The senator also believes the budget’s certainty will help the private sector to grow and add jobs.
