SUPERIOR, WI (KDAL) - Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College has been ranked 4th among two year colleges nationwide in a study by Washington Monthly. The rankings are the combined results from a nonprofit organization called the Community College Survey of Student Engagement and the graduation rates published by the U-S Department of Education. The data looks at 700 community and technical colleges across the country and identifies the top 50. WITC, with four campuses in NW Wisconsin including Superior, ranked 7th in 2010 moved up to 6th the following year and is now at number 4. WITC President Bob Meyer says the administration and staff are proud of the ranking and says it reflects their commitment to make the student experience at WITC outstanding and rewarding.
