DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - St. Louis County officials have accepted the AFSCME union offer on a sick leave compromise. The agreement would cap sick leave accumulation at 1500 hours for both new hires and current employees and avoids a strike that could have begun as early as Friday. The union represents just over a thousand county employees who will vote on the deal on Thursday, September 12th.
