DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - When Duluth Police responded to a disturbance at 12th Avenue East and 4th Street about 11 p-m on Wednesday, officers saw a man with shaggy hair standing in front of a nearby residence holding a lever action rifle and told him to drop it. He did, but then ran into a residence in the 1300 block of East 4th Street. When officers went into the residence, they located the suspect who apparently had just cut off most of his hair and changed clothes. After a search warrant was issued, officers found the missing hair, scissors and the clothes that matched the description of what the suspect was wearing earlier when the officer saw him holding the rifle. He was taken to the St. Louis County Jail on charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
