DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - Snow is expected to become more widespread and increase in intensity later today and tonight and a Winter Storm Warning is in effect until 10 a-m Friday. The National Weather Service Office in Duluth says accumulations of 6 to 8 inches of snow is possible across northeast Minnesota including the Twin Ports with some locally higher amounts. There is also a chance for freezing rain mixed with snow and sleet in east central Minnesota into northwest Wisconsin. Winds will increase from the northeast causing areas of blowing snow and reduced visibility. Keep up with the latest forecast on 610 KDAL.
