DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - The official 7 inches of snow recorded yesterday in Duluth has set a record for snowfall on April 11th. It breaks the old record of 2 inches that fell in Duluth on that date in 1993. Meanwhile, the snow continues to pile up with another 2 to 3 inches expected on Friday and another storm poised to arrive on Sunday. Snow totals in the region varied but 8 to 12 inches was common in central Minnesota into northwest Wisconsin. Strong winds caused blowing and drifting of the snow and lesser traveled roads are still snow covered and slippery.
