UNDATED (KDAL) - An initial report from the National Transportation Safety Board, following the crash of a plane that claimed the life of a Duluth pilot, showed no apparent mechanical problems with the aircraft. The NTSB report says the victim, Kevin Ferris, was not an instrument rated pilot and the crash occurred in foggy conditions. Ferris, known as the "Rose Man" was on his way from Superior to Moorhead when the plane went down.
