ST. PAUL, MN (KDAL) - At least eight people were killed in vehicle crashes in Minnesota this past weekend making it the deadliest weekend of the year. The five deaths on Sunday also made that the deadliest single day of the year. The Minnesota State Patrol says this should serve as a reminder to motorists to buckle up, drive at safe speeds and pay attention when driving. There have now been 71 fatalities on Minnesota roads so far in 2013 compared to 75 at this time a year ago.
