DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - The debate over proposed copper and nickel mining on the Iron Range takes center stage Tuesday night at UMD's Center for Ethics and Public Policy. Major players on both sides will be on hand to engage in what organizers hope is a thoughtful back-and-forth. The center says the goal is to "create an open discussion in which many sides can exchange ideas and concerns in a respectful atmosphere." The event goes from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in room 90 of Bohannon Hall, and is free and open to the public.
