DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - A Minnesota State Patrol Trooper attempted to stop a motorcycle driver for no rear light and old registration on Central Entrance in Duluth Tuesday night. The motorcyclist initially stopped but took off at high speed when the trooper got out of his vehicle and approached the motorcycle on foot. After a short pursuit, the motorcyclist lost control and went down with his machine near College Street. He was taken to the hospital for treatment of a "road rash" type injury and then was booked in the St. Louis County jail on charges including fleeing an officer.
