DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - According to National Weather Service statistics, the month of March in Duluth ended up colder and wetter than normal. The average temperature for the month was 21.8 degrees, 4.1 degrees colder than normal and tying as the 46th coldest March in Duluth history. 25.8 inches of snow fell in March, over 12 inches above the normal and it was the 10th snowiest March on record. Looking forward to April, normal highs are usually in the low 40's early in the month and mid 50's by the end of the month. Normal snowfall for April is 6.9 inches.
