SUPERIOR, WI (KDAL) - The Tower Avenue reconstruction project in Superior is set to begin in April of next year.  The Superior Business Improvement District held a news conference on Thursday to begin a new campaign called "We Dig Downtown Superior".  The campaign will keep residents and visitors informed about construction schedules and alternate routes to access businesses along the street during the construction.   The 7 million dollar Tower Avenue project, from Belknap to North 3rd Street, will begin in mid April and is scheduled to be complete in October of 2013.  Mayor Bruce Hagen says the temporary inconvenience will result in a long term benefit for the city.
