Duluth, MN (KDAL) - Construction continues on Duluth's new airport terminal and officials with the Airport Authority announced yesterday that a grand opening has been scheduled for January 14th. The new landing pad is more open and has better facilities for today's airport security standards.
An open house will preceed the grand opening by two days. There will be larger seating capacity in the new facility and it will feature a better concessions area.
Duluth International is currently served by several airlines. The big player in the sky is Delta, formerly Northwest Airlines and Republic before that.
