Duluth, Mn (KDAL) - This year's Snocross Snowmobile Championships ended yesterday in Duluth on top of Spirit Mountain.  The event was a great success with over thirty thousand people attending who filled Duluth's hotels, restaurants and bars. One of the sponsors, Visit Duluth, estimated that the economic impact on the region was five million dollars.

Cold temperatures and natural snow kept the course in great shape for the event, something that was in question last week due to late fall warm weather.
