Duluth, MN (KDAL) - Winter arrived just in time for the start of the Snocross Snowmobile Championships this weekend at Spirit Mountain in Duluth. Nearly a thousand entries and about thirty thousand spectators are here for the event. Crews have prepared a track for the event, even in the warm weather, but now with colder temperatures more snow can be made. Visit Duluth spokesman Gene Shaw reports that Spirit Mountain did a great job preparing for the event.
Top prize in the AMZOIL Duluth National Snocross championship is a check for ten thousand dollars. Other prizes include points and the prestigious C-J Ramstad Cup.
