Duluth, MN (KDAL) - Members and supporters of the transgender community got together yesterday evening to raise awareness of hate crimes against transgender people on what's internationally recognized as a Day of Remembrance.

Supporters held a silent vigil at the corner of Lake Avenue and Superior Street in an expression of love and respect for people around the world facing indifference and hatred.
