The city of Virginia has a new Mayor. Louis Russo was elected by a body of his peers on the city council last night in a five-to-one vote. Russo replaces Mayor Steve Peterson, who was appointed executive director for the Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation Board.
Russo has served on the Virginia City Council for more than 20 years.
