Duluth, MN (KDAL) - Tomorrow is the opening night for the Christmas City of Duluth. The Holiday Tradition sponsored by KBJR-TV, the Christmas City of the North Parade will march down Superior Street and the Bentlyville Tour of Lights will be open as well.
Free parking is being provided at all downtown ramps and meters. There will be no parking along Superior Street.
Duluth's Christmas City of the North was officially named in a song commissioned by the former WDSM-TV and performed by Merv Griffin.
Friday also marks the lighting of Duluth's Community Christmas Tree in the Minnesota Power Plaza along the parade route on Superior Street.
