Tomorrow is a first. Mayors Don Ness and Bruce Hagen plan to proclaim Nov. 15 Young Leaders Day at a gathering to formally recognize and thank prominent young leaders in the area.

The event is sponsored by the Young Leaders Fund and the Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation, and will allow young people to network with their peers and celebrate the impact the YLF enjoys in the region.

The proclamation is at 10 a.m. at the Zeitgeist Arts complex and will feature the music of local folk group Coyote, as well as a performance by former YLF-grantee Renegade Theater. Contributions made to YLF tomorrow will be matched by the Allete Chairmen's Circle Challenge.
