ST. PAUL, MN (KDAL) -Even though the numbers are not yet official, Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie says a record number of ballots were cast in Tuesday's election. With 99.9 percent of precincts reporting 2,938,947 voters cast ballots in the presidential race compared to 2,921,147 in the 2008 presidential election. The number of eligible voters who went to the polls in Minnesota is about 76 percent.
