Lawyer denies Russell Brand committed hit and run

From WENN.com

Robert Fink is representing Victor Sneed, who claims he has had to use a cane and wear a brace since the Brit reportedly struck him with his Range Rover in Los Angeles in January (12).

However, Fink has dismissed reports the comedian drove off after the accident and reveals Brand actually stopped to see if Sneed was alright, before sending an aide back to exchange personal details with the man.

Fink explains, ""I wouldn't call it hit and run. There was a lot of paparazzi around. Paparazzi can drive you crazy.""

But the attorney also reveals Sneed, who filed his suit on Monday (29Oct12), is seeking a lot more cash than the $25,000 (£15,625) initially reported, telling TheWrap.com his client wants hundreds of thousands of dollars in compensation.

Sneed's suit lists negligence and cites wage loss, medical expenses and loss of earning capacity.
