UNDATED (KDAL) - U-S Senator Amy Klobuchar is co-sponsoring federal legislation that would prohibit an employer from requiring that current or potential employees turn over passwords to Facebook or other private online accounts. Klobuchar says it is about the right to privacy and that no person should be forced to reveal private online communications to secure a job. The Password Protection Act is also being worked on by Senators Chuck Schumer of New York and Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut.
