SUPERIOR, WI (KDAL) - Superior Police are investigating an assault and robbery that occurred in the area of North 17th and Tower around 4:20 a-m on Friday. Two adult women had left the residence of an acquaintance and as they walked to their vehicle were confronted by a suspect in a black ski mask and dressed in dark clothing. The suspect began striking one of the women with a club or blunt object and then struck the second woman in the face and stole her purse. The victims were treated for injuries at a local hospital and released.
