DULUTH, MN (KDAL) - Small business operators in the Duluth area can get free help in expanding their presence on the web at seminars on Friday at Fitgers conducted by Google along with national and local partners. The "Minnesota Get Your Business Online" seminars will start at 8:30 a-m and 12:30 p-m. Duluth Mayor Don Ness and U-S Senator Al Franken will be among the speakers at the event designed to help the nearly 60 percent of small businesses in the state that don't currently have a website. Google is offering a free domain name and hosting for a year and other resources to succeed online. Non profits and larger businesses are also welcome to attend the seminars.
