SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - A Sheboygan man has now been formally charged after ramming his car into a porch on Sheboygan’s north side late Thursday evening.  44  year old David Braatz was charged with two counts of 2nd degree reckless endangerment and one count of criminal damage to property after allegedly getting into an argument with his girlfriend at a party, then giving his girlfriend and another woman a ride home.  It was during that drive home that Braatz became agitated, accelerated his car up to 100 miles per hour on 8th Street and blowing through stop signs and stop lights.  At the intersection of 8th and Geele, Braatz’s car left the roadway and struck a tree and a house.  Both Braatz and his two passengers fled the scene and were promptly apprehended by authorities.  If convicted, Braatz could spend the next 20 years in prison.
