MARINETTE COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) - One person is dead and another injured after a two vehicle crash in Marinette County.
It happened Tuesday around 8:20 a.m. on northbound Highway 41 at Flame Road between Peshtigo and Marinette.
"For whatever reason, the southbound SUV lost control, went down through the median and into the northbound lane when it hit the pickup truck," says Marinette County Sheriff Jerry Sauve.
The 50-year-old victim died at the scene.
Sauve says the 18-year-old Marinette woman suffered non-life threatening injuries. No word yet on a possible cause and the investigation is ongoing.
