ST. PAUL, Min. (KDAL) - Several meetings between Republican legislative leaders and Democratic Governor Mark Dayton over the weekend did not lead to any agreements on how to solve a projected 5 billion dollar deficit. The session officially ends at midnight Monday and most legislators believe the governor will have to call a special session to finish the budget. If an agreement is not reached by the end of June, Minnesota would face a partial government shutdown.
