ST. PAUL, Min (KDAL) - The Minnesota unemployment rate fell one tenth of one percent in April to a seasonally adjusted 6.5 percent. The Minnesota rate is 2.5 percent less than the national rate of 9 percent. The leisure and hospitality industries led all sectors in job growth last month, gaining 3100 jobs. Job gains were also posted in professional and business services, education, logging and mining. Colder than normal temperatures resulted in a slight loss of jobs in the construction industry.
