CHICAGO, Ill. (MNN) - Francisco Liriano pitched the sixth no-hitter in Minnesota Twins history, in a 1-0 victory over the White Sox Tuesday night in Chicago. Liriano's gem helped the Twins snap a six-game losing streak. He improved his season record to 2-and-4, while walking six and fanning two. Liriano was able to set down the home team in order in the third, fifth, sixth and seventh innings -- retiring 11 in a row at one point. Jason Kubel's one-out solo homer in the fourth inning was all the offense the Twins required on Tuesday.
