TERRE HAUTE, IN (WIBQ) -- Its a community center, food pantry, a place for at risk kids. But the 14th and Chestnut Community Center may not be anything by this fall. Those in charge say they’re funding has dropped off so much in the past six months that they may not be able to keep the doors open. That’s why they’re asking for help. They’ve canceled a trip to St Louis, and are about 30 thousand dollars down from this time last year. They don’t need that much to stay open, but they do need the community’s support so kids will have a place to go after school this fall.
