UNDATED (KDAL) - The state of Wisconsin has settled an old tax reciprocity debt that was owed to Minnesota. Wisconsin paid nearly 60 million dollars to Minnesota after it was included and passed as part of the state budget. Wisconsin State Representative Nick Milroy says now that the debt has been paid it is time to move forward on renegotiating a new agreement. Tax reciprocity allows residents of one state who works in the other to file just one tax return in their home state. Early preparations for crafting a new plan have started in both states.
