About 24-hundred soldiers of the Minnesota National Guard have been notified they will deploy to Kuwait in May.  They will help with the final drawdown of U.S. forces in Iraq.  Guard officials say this is the same unit that was assigned to the longest combat tour during Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2006 to 2007.  Their deployment will last a year.
