(Chanhassen, MN) -- A national holiday didn't stop the snow from piling up across the state to start the week. The National Weather Service reports around six-inches of accumulation in the state's far northeastern corner and along the upper North Shore by the end of Martin Luther King Junior Day. Nearly five-inches of snow came down over other parts of northern Minnesota, while the southern Minnesota town of Madelia recorded four-and-a-half-inches of snow.
