A new report shows that home foreclosures in Minnesota dropped about one percent in 2010 from the previous year. RealtyTrac's Daren Blomquist says the apparent good news is not all that good because more than 31-thousand properties were taken back by lenders.
Blomquist says Minnesota can expect another rise in foreclosures during the first three months of this year. New figures show the state's December 2010 foreclosure rate dropped eleven-percent from November, largely due to lenders slowing down foreclosure processing amid government investigations.
